At Footsteps Care, we understand that finding the right placement is one of the most important decisions professionals make for a child or young person. Our aim is to provide safe, stable, nurturing homes where children and young people can thrive, develop independence, and achieve positive outcomes.

We consider each referral individually. Our experienced management team works closely with referring professionals throughout the assessment process to ensure placements are carefully matched and plan for long-term success.

We provide specialist care and support for children and young people with a range of needs, including:

• Learning disabilities

• Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)

• Physical disabilities

• Complex health needs

• Social, emotional and behavioural needs

• Communication difficulties

• Children who have experienced trauma or adverse childhood experiences

• Young people preparing for greater independence

 

Each placement is assessed on an individual basis to ensure we can safely meet the child's needs while promoting their well-being, development, and future independence.
